FUJIFILM XF10
The Fujifilm XF10 is a premium, compact camera that fits in your pocket. It’s one of the few pocket sized cameras with an APSC sensor. It’s the best point and shoot i’ve ever used, I consider this to be Fujifilm’s most underrated photography camera.
You don’t hear much about the XF10, it’s been overshadowed by the x100v and other true compact cameras like the Ricoh griii.
This is a great alternative to those cameras at a fraction of the cost. The XF10 was released in 2018 and is now discontinued. I hope Fujifuilm makes more pocket cameras in the future..
My XF10 Settings:
Snap Focus! It’s the quickest way to capture a moment and not rely on the slow autofocus system.
Aperture Priority. It speeds up my shooting process and allows me to control the depth of field easily with the top dial.
Flash. There is a built in flash and it’s one of my favorite features. Keep it in the quick menu to toggle on/off easily.
Having a simple, user friendly camera is a nice change from using overly technical gear.
At $500+/- it’s not cheap.
If you take into consideration the specs, ease of use, and convenience of this powerful camera, it offers a great value for the price.
I use this camera for fun, i take it on trips, photograph my friends, family, and everyday life. For those use cases, the image quality is more than enough.
The XF10 is definitely not Fujifilm’s best camera, but it offers a unique blend of impressive specs, ease of use, and price that make it such a great option for pretty much anyone.
I think this is Fujifilm’s most underrated photography camera and I hope they keep making compact camera’s in the future.
